Directions for use:
Before eating, soak the seaweed in water for 5 minutes and rinse thoroughly.
Do not use the soaking water.
Cooking directions:
Fried Kelp
Cut kelp into strips about 2 inches long and fry in cooking oil. When it floats to the surface, remove it and lightly sprinkle with sugar before eating.
Broth
Boil kelp and anchovies in a medium pot for 10 minutes. Then reduce the heat and simmer for another 10 minutes. Strain the liquid to remove the anchovies and kelp. The stock adds a clean umami flavor to dishes such as noodles, cold soups, and stews.
Storage:
Store in a cool and dry place.
The recommended daily intake of iodine (0.4 mg) should not be exceeded. This corresponds to about 2.6 g of dried seaweed or 30 g of cooked seaweed.
